CIPR PRide Awards 2011 in Pitcures

If you read one of our earlier news items, you’ll know that we sponsored the CIPR PRide Awards a couple of weeks ago. Huge congratulations to Willoughby PR who took home top prize, plus also to all the other winners on the night – the quality of work was exceptional and competition was clearly fierce.

In keeping with the evening’s Olympic theme, this year’s compère was none other than the mercurial Kriss Akabusi. And what a compère he made. His energy, enthusiasm, banter and general presence added a fantastic edge to the evening and he certainly made sure everyone was engaged with proceedings!

For anyone that’s been to the awards over the past few years, you’ll know Pitch always sponsor the evening. This year we were thrilled to be asked to use the annual Pitch prize draw as an opportunity to raise money for the Akabusi Charitable Trust, raising a brilliant £1015 in total.

The awards are a chance to celebrate success and let your hair down a little, so it’s only right that our activity adds to this, rather than the usual, more reserved, sponsorship activity often seen at similar events. So, back by popular demand was the Pitch photo booth: a 10-person photo booth, complete with props and even a wind machine for those true rock moments.
