Freelance Website Project Manager – 5 days p/w
Birmingham – minimum of 3 days per week on site
Circa £450 per day
Pitch is delighted to be exclusively supporting a Birmingham based life sciences business as they begin to scale up and enter new markets.
They’re currently looking to re-design and develop their website, working with a web agency and require an experienced Website Project Manager to join ASAP to work closely with the agency to deliver the CEO’s vision.
You’ll be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing new website builds and migrations, working closely with the development agency to deliver the project on time and on budget.
You’ll also support the CEO to deliver other ad-hoc marketing projects such as organising conferences and the attendance at exhibitions, including liaison with event companies, stand designers etc.
Elements of the role include:
- Define the project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines for the project.
- Make recommendations on the structure, functionality, UX and flow required for the new site, working with the CEO and internal stakeholders to gather all relevant data and content.
- Oversee migration and continuous testing to ensure the site is fit for purpose.
- Work closely with the agency to ensure that they are delivering to the required standard and keeping to project timelines.
- Regular updating and reporting to the CEO and all stakeholders involved in the process.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous robust experience of managing new website builds and migrations.
- Experience of wireframing and expert knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
- Exceptional project management expertise.
- Able to understand the vision and objectives of the business to ensure the website reflects this.
- Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience can be either from an in-house role or agency where you have project managed transactional website builds.
You need to be available to start as soon as possible following interviews being held for the project. The role is 5 days a week for a period of 3 months initially. A minimum of 3 days onsite is required, although the preference would be for more.
