We’re excited to be working with this great retail- based client with multiple branches across the UK. They’re looking to add a Social Media Content Coordinator into their digital team.
Due to the location of the office, you’ll need to have your own transport and be happy to travel out to branches at least once a week and attend trade shows and events to capture content.
They’re looking to develop their social media presence across Meta, You Tube and TikTok to engage with new customers and bring the brand to life through engaging and authentic native content.
Responsibilities in the role:
- Take ownership of the social media content plan, creating a more structured and pro-active strategy for the year including seasonal, product and trend-led content.
- Work closely with the organic social media agency to ensure they deliver the BAU social strategy and ensure any relevant content is shared with agency who manage paid.
- Develop engaging and authentic social media content that brings the brand and the people to life, whilst also maintaining some product and promotional led content.
- Develop the plan to utilise more video content, particularly for You Tube – “how to” and “a day in the life” etc.
- Spend one day per week in a branch to capture content and travel to shows and events as needed.
Experience needed:
- Previous experience in a social media content role.
- Experience of developing and owning a social media content calendar.
- Experience of developing You Tube as a social channel would be advantageous.
- Experience of using Canva and Capcut. Adobe Photoshop would be beneficial.
- Strong communication, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail.
- Ideally some experience within an eCommerce or bricks and mortar retailer is preferred.
- Previous experience or an interest in construction, interiors, trade retail etc. would be highly beneficial.
